Good fun, freezing, night out. Pre-game was good fun, stashed some beers under a truck, then returned there often. Didn't much need the Matthew Good Band concert, but seemed like folks were digging it. No official beer garden outside the venue was a silly, silly mistake. I was in the very top corner, east end of the south stand, and the wind just ate me alive. It was freaking nasty, to the point that a lot of people took shifts alternating between the seats and the terraces. The game itself was OK, but not terribly interesting, plus it was getting tough to focus the drunker and colder I got. Was glad for the extra-time winner, was not looking forward to ending the night with penalties. Attendance? All in all, a drag. TFC didn't do enough advertising, and charged too much money when TFC had no shot at being in the match. Cold probably did keep folks away, and a lot of Red Patch stayed away in protest of MLSEL's handling of the club. Good fun. Id go again, but I dunno if November in Toronto is gonna entice MLS again too quickly. Glad I went. :chug:
