ive had cigarettes swabbed for explosives and drugs by canadian guards, coming back from IT into NB. hell of a time getting over thru that little shack of a crossing. they pulled me into immigration, and as i am sitting there, about 10 feet behind the guards window (this shack was tiny), some hippies pull up, guard says where ya going? phish. go ahead. sonofabitch. it took an hour, but i got thru, it takes an hour every time, i am half american but have no documents to prove it. the dutyfree was weird there as well, the lady had to bring it around back of the building to us in our car, that was the littlest, strangest border crossing site ive seen

i laughed, just like greg, believe it or not it was a funny story. my funniest border story, not to steal dimas thunder(ing shits in an art gallery) was crossing with my dad years ago before i drove, we pull up to the american guard booth. citizenship? both canadian, where you headed? just dropping him off at his girlfriends, then the guard says to my dad, and what are you gonna do sir, videotape them? go ahead. fucking weirdo american guards man. it was the easiest time ive had getting in since ive been arrested though.

my wife did a clothing swap a few months ago, it went really well. its such a better idea than giving them to value village or somewhere where they will be resold for profit. if you do give away clothes, give them to the fire dept. where they wont be resold. me and my wife are also trying to get our alley cleaned up, trying to organize the neighbourhood. good luck to yall in your garbage pickin adventures. when i saw the post i was going to brag about how we have furnished our living room with all new rattan furniture all from the rich areas of burlington-oakville "big garbage" days. so far we have scored 2 of those round bowl chairs, a round loveseat, all rattan, 2 futons, which let us wash and restuff the mattress. it amazes us what people throw away, we saw a leather couch tossed

killer show. sweet set by dougie, it was nice to see him play again. Really good acoustic set, i love the re-tooled animator. and i like the electrofunk on the album. dougie sitting in for our little town with the dog was a highlight for sure. as well as seeing all the kind friendly folks again
