i get up every day for work at 4-30, so i hear you about the body clock thing on the weekends. in fact, i got up at 5 30 today to take a wizz just because my bodies used to being up around then doing that. i have a real hard time getting back to sleep, once my mind really starts turning, im up no matter what time it is, sometimes if i just smoke one right away when im up too early, itll put me back out, only if its the heavy smoke though, like the K9 or something. have you tried valerian root pills? they leave me pretty dopey in the mornings, im sure you could sleep longer with them

i think i figured it out, was talking with a guy from BYOC on their forum, he is convinced that i plugged in a 9v AC POSITIVE ground where-as i shoulda been using a negative ground. but thats why the diode is there, to blow first and protect the board. so i reckon if i get a new one, and use the right damn power cord we'l;l be in bizness not as bad as i thought afterall, i kinda figured i would fack something up my first go at one of these. thanks for the input there tungsten

yep, its a BYOC kit. the white stripes were aligned correctly, thats why i dont facking understand why it blew? i was taking lots of pics during the process of building this, but none of the shots of the board turned out, facking hell

its funny you mentin diodes, because thats what blew up right off the fucking bat. im blaming faulty parts, not faulty welds, but we will see, im going to try and just run a jumper over it, see if itll go, it was an "optional" part, but it did come with a few different transistors for different tones, a set of germaniums and a set of silicons is what i reckon. but i never got to try either one, because it started smoking as i turned it on, this diode in question that blew, was in the circut to control "accidental reverse polarity" like if i plugged in a dc into the ac jack, which i didnt, and it still blew, i dont get it, im trying to get a new bit from the company. bastards. and yeah i have a little soldering iron, 15-30W, not a big gun or anything, my soldering was good, i practiced on some other stuff for a few mins, watched some yutube stuff, and took my time, all my joints look good, i was shocked oh well, ill figure this shit out soon. that vise looks good, i have a little "nerd stand" you know, with the roach clips on pose-able arms, and a magnifier trying a tremolo pedal next, just dont have the time

man was that ever a good show!!! great to see dave again, nice to see the solo act, ive never seen that before. makes me want to buy a moog all over again. and the acoustic diesel sets were killer too, lots of john prine, my fave, i was in heaven. i LOVE that pink floyd tune they do, fuck ryan really nails some nice banjo lines in it. it was great to see so many skanks we havent seen in ages too, except for shane, fucking fucker ripped my friggin shirt all in all, killer night of great music, i got my $5 worth in the first tune that was played. cant wait for the recordings to come up online.

(one point for every day) thatll boost your score, holy fack, one poiunt for every day for years and years. im gonna stop counting there cvuz itll be thousands. i smoke alot. about 6-8 during the day of work(5am-3pm) then ill smoke another 4-10 depending 3whats going on that night, weekend, whatever. i like dpe, it motivates me, but i dont have to smoke to do anything, im not a lazy smoker, i used to be. now i have way too much shit to do around our house to sit and zone out. ive challenged and won potsmoking contests, is that Q on that test? anyone want to bet their pay?

the bullshit i see every morning drives me nuts, the HSR buss'es idling in front of tim ho's, 4 of them, the jackass bus drivers inside chatting up the underagers behind the counter while their busses just blow smoke. fucking goofs. i also call bullshit on tim hortons workers that cant stir the fucking cup of coffee.
