Our room ended up being pretty good but we did get the "priceline" view, looking down on some major construction -- a very minor complaint. Hotel was top notch and the location was perfect. I am sold on Priceline!

I find myself enjoying the Sunday afternoon broadcasts on NBC mostly due to the lack of familiar, and annoying, on-air personalities.

I hope this means the CBC is going to be buying more HighDef cameras.

Just thought I'd create a thread for anyone who wants to get something of his or her chest by way of apology. There have been so many apologies in different threads this week that's it getting hard to keep track of. If there's enough interest I'll bug Mike to create an apology forum. You can thank me later. I'll start off by apologizing for The Slip forum. They're playing Montreal tomorrow night for anyone who missed it.

I was thinking that if you reduced your consumption by as much as possible then hydro ups its rates so that your bill is just as high as it was before that it's going to leave a really bad taste in your mouth. It's not dealing in good faith. i.e. I'm making a sacrifice but big business isn't.

Vote For The Worst takes too much credit for something they probably had minimial effect on, if at all. The producers *want* Sanjaya on tour. Why else would they fill half his segment showing his target demographic bawling her eyes out. Sanjaya is going to be gold for tickets sales when the idols go on tour this summer. I haven't seen that but notice that Ryan ends every performance show with "Phone lines will be open FOR AT LEAST two hours"? I don't know exactly what that means but, in a close race, what's stopping them from keeping them open until they get the result they want? Just remember that everything is pro wrestling.

Dude, sitting in a cubicle 8 hours a day is a tough, tough place to be! I'm jealous of all you fuckers with the wherewithall to follow your music dreams. I think a lot of people would love to be in a touring band situation. When times get tough, focus on what you have, not what you don't have. Take a look at what you've accomplished so far and use that feeling to forge ahead.

good point We got a 4 star in Montreal for Friday night on our first bid of $55 US - The Intercontinental, between Old and downtown Montreal. Total came to just over $70 with taxes, which is about $85 Canadian. A pretty good deal I think, only now I wish we had started lower. All in all I was very happy with the experience and will definitely use priceline again! Thanks for the comments and advice.
