There's an implication there that those opnions are not honest. I find that insulting. You have selective memory then because there have been positive things said about the Conservative government here. And I've seen attacks on groups like "focus on the family" but I have not seen anyone attacking the notion of "family" here. So you'd feel better if more people agreed with you? How about we use this forum as a means to share honest opinion and not play a numbers game?

Went here a lot when it first opened, haven't been back much lately but it always seems to be packed -- good for them. Small but great beer lineup, especially for an Ottawa pub. "Better than pub" food too. They have Never Mind the Bollocks in the jukebox and I always make sure to give "Bodies" a spin.

I don't think it's anything more than an inside joke of the message board.

I'm a "just the facts" kind of person so I find it hard to make up my mind on this story without hearing the military's side of things. Is there a detailed account of the incident anywhere? From what I've read, the gun went off while the soldiers were riding in a cramped vehicle on a bumpy road. Is the military arguing that Cpl. Fraser didn't secure his gun properly? It does seem kinda fucked. I wish there was more information available.

It goes to penalties if the replay is a draw. At least that's how the last round worked. I'm hopeful for a Spurs win but I think they had their chance last weekend at the Bridge. We'll find out today if their current form is illusion or the real deal.

I just hope it passes. I'm sick to death of impending election talk.

I was disappointed too. Mostly though by the 11 PM curfew that has been discussed ad nauseum. I was left feeling, "Is that it?". It was a good show but lacked punch. The band seemed a bit sour by the time constraints too so maybe that affected the performance. I still highly recommend their last disc -- Six Demon Bag. There was a bit of a mosh pit off to the side which I wasn't expecting but it didn't bother me much -- then again I was pretty drunk too! I didn't think the bar was that packed though, thought it was relatively quiet for a Saturday night. I didn't have any problem getting beer during the set -- pretty much my criteria for what I deem a packed show. The Mill St. Lager on tap was good and you can't beat $8 quarts of Heineken.

Can't wait!!
