I've been digging the chipotle tabasco.

A few weeks ago I went to a craft brew festival in Burlington with Rossalee. There were tons of tasty brews but the one that stood out was Denison's Wheat. Denison's used to be a brew pub in downtown T.O., but it went out of business. The brewer is still brewing out of Black Oak in Oakville. Chad bought a 1/2 keg for a little party shortly after- that was a fun night. The other beer that stood out was a chipotle ale brewed by the guy from Pepperwood's Beer Bistro- the hosts of the festival. It had a real neat smokey heat aftertaste. I wouldn't sit down to a night of drinking it, but it was a neat example of some different things you can do with beer.

I haven't been listening to much Phish (or any other jamband) lately, but I just threw on 12/29/97-my second show, and am absolutely loving it. The Antelope is a rager and I'm getting down to a 2nd set DWD opener right now. I do miss the Phish. I think they will be back sooner rather then later at this point. I'm thinking next fall we might hear news.

Let's go to Charleston for a weekend this summer. Drop me a pm when the season opens up and we'll make a plan.

I'm trying to figure out what to cook tonight. I have lots of stuff in the fridge. I'm thinking chicken, pounded flat and rolled up with asparagus, brie, and basil. I'll whip up some kind of yummy sauce to add to it. Any other suggestion for a good stuffed (or rather, rolled) chicken?

Secondtube- I actually wouldn't mind a fishing buddy! The lake is pretty well known for it's lake trout and we have lots of American tourists trolling the deeps! Do you ever fly fish? I'm thinking about taking it up. There are some good streams to fly fish around Oakville and I don't have a boat so it might be a good option to feed the fishing jones.

My parents have a place on Charleston Lake. It's about 1.5 hours from Ottawa and has great fishing. Lots of bass (both largemouth and smallmouth), pike, lake trout etc. I know there are a few places that rent in their area so I'll keep an eye out for you!

I got tix for Wednesday's show but got shut out for tonight! If anyone has a friend bail and has an extra +1, then hook a brother up!

The hard drive on my 30 gig ipod failed recently as well. I'm hoping to get it repaired rather then replaced as well. If anyone has had any experience in these matters, I would like to hear about it as well.

My lovely wife just gave me an early birthday present! A (nearly) new IMAC!!! I've been using an old Macbook for years. It didn't have the balls or space necessary to download all the fun stuff out there! I am pretty pumped right now and I don't see very much work getting done for the rest of the afternoon!

A buddy from work just called and offered to take me to tomorrow nights Sweet Sixteen games in Detroit. Tix were just $75! I can't go b/c I'm off to NYC, but it's killing me!!!

Del Curry's kid was amazing in both games this weekend. I actually picked them to knock out Geogetown leaving me in first place in my pool! Exciting weekend of ball! I liked seeing Duke go down early. I picked UCLA to win it all but the Tar Heels are looking good and have me worried.

MOBE- please share this recipe. There are tons of good deals on lamb in the grocery store right now b/c of easter. I love lamb stews and curries!

Just pan sear those bad boys- or grill them if you have shovelled your bbq out. Medium Rare. Grab a bottle of shiraz or some other "big" wine. As a side may I suggest asparagus with anchovie and herbs/chilli butter.
