  1. yeah, the original Kingston Jeremy Fisher is putting out a solo album soon, but obviously under a different name.

Yeah, that's the Fish I know (the Kingston one)...

I read an article about the bike dude singer Jeremy Fisher (the one who's playing with Craig Cardiff on Tuesday) and found out Jeremy Fisher isn't even his real name! That's just bogus!

  3. the question asked was, why is she famous?

I've spent many a sleepless night pondering this very question...the only explanation I could come up with is as follows:

Why is Diana Krall famous? An iron-clad, blood-scribed, deal with the devil.

It would explain the dead, dead look in her eyes.

When they do the E True Hollywood story, they can subtitle it "The Zombification of Diana Krall: Her Deal With the Devil".

  4. Sorry that happened to you (and your puppy!!)

You should NOT feel bad about how you responded...it's unlikely that any of us would know the "right" way to respond to something like that.

Face it--the world has changed enormously since we (well, I) were (was) kids. Hell, it's changed immensely in the last 10-15 years...

Unfortunately, for your own protection, you have to assume a defensive stance (unless provoked).

So, as Deb suggests, avoiding (further) confrontation is best, if possible--you never know what people are packin' these days (sad but true).

I find it to be a daily struggle--trying to assume the best about people while at the same time being realistic and smart about safety. It's an increasingly difficult balancing act.

  5. So these two guys walk into a bear..

[color:purple]Were they with a priest, a rabbi, and a guy with a duck on his head?

Well, the way I heard it, it was a salami, not a duck...but it really doesn't make any difference to the outcome of the joke..the bear's Catholic either way...

    :P

  6. i remember a guy climbing a pole...and I was disappointed that I missed taking a picture of it.

do they build an insane campfire at this thing too?

Yep, that was the one...I think that was also the one when Caution Jam played late night in the saloon and it was so friggin' cold (INSIDE!) that we were wearing mitts & 87 layers each...
