I believe I heard Bob McCown say that Rogers bought the rights from tsn/cbc for every Jay's game this season and announced at the start of the season that they would be broadcasting every game this year. Then they announced that they have now created a new channel and they would only be on sportsnet 1. It doesn't matter much to me because I don't have cable but suck's for cogeco and bell customers.

I'm surprised the jay's are still around considering they haven't been in the playoffs since they won those two championships. I am happy they are though cause I love my 100 dollar season tickets.

Raptors surprisingly do well with attendance compared to a lot of the American cities. They fill their building at 90% capacity. The 76'ers only filled it to 70% last year and the worst attendance is the nets at 69%. I don't see the raptors moving or folding anytime soon.

Maybe Pearl Jam tried to fight it at one point but I think they were full of shit. There are quotes from Vedder in the 90's talking about how he hates how bands charge 50 dollars for tickets when they only charge 20 and how pearl jam will never have high tickets that kids can't afford. Now they charge 100 dollars for tickets. I wonder what changed?
