Here here Velveeta, I had some rough ones when I was a kid... cupcake, hair, fat... real creative stuff. When I moved to Toronto and joined a hip hop group I got the name Medisin, but when Sugarmegs/Megrocker signed me up for the board after my first ComeToGive'er Festival I had to pick a name that I wouldn't mind explaining. The first name that came to me was Thorgnor because that's what my dad wanted to name me... sadly my mother disagreed with him. My initials wouldn't have worked... IP. Oh yeah, some people call me the Guv'nor... I think it's cause I fuckin'rule!!!!

De La Soul - Ghislain Poirer Double bill, Mistuer Valaire on saturday, Ayo on sunday (and maybe a late show?), and PUBLIC ENEMY on moday followed by Love Trio w/ U-Roy... too bad we have to leave at the beginning of the week. South exeter is sweet... I read the water meters in the whole area and it's all really nice in the spring/summer/fall but the winter can be kinda impassable as far as trips to London. Hwy #4 can be ridiculous. The town itself is nothing like the huge intersection at the north end... any left or right leaves you on a street that ends on a creek, a forest or a farmer's field, typical small town atmosphere but it is a little bigger than it first appears. Lots of century farmhouses and recondition older stuff all over and the prices are good for the area. If you want somewhere really cheap look towards Rodeny, West Lorne or closer to London you could check out Glencoe. The prices down there are crazy low, but it's also crazy underdeveloped.

Well... I'm black and I pay more attention to the U.S. so you're right sucka. Name an important, current Black Canadian (read non-immigrant) politician or lecturer on social issues, one who highschoolers would know of, and you get a cookie.
