  10. Saw them last summer, 200 level - the crowd is VERY much the same. Completely douchebags. Reminded me why I stopped seeing them. Also, b/c they haven't put out anything decent in 14 years, but the old cuts are still great.
  11. Picked up 7lbs of german sausages ( Weisswurst, Knackwurst, bratwurst), some soft pretzels, some saurkraut and tossing around the idea of making some schnitzel for tomorrow's Champion's league all german final. I need giant steins now.

  13. Hmmm, I guess I never expected the 4 day pass to get me into the club shows. Maybe a discount or something, but to hit 4 days of shows and hit all the club action too, seems like a lot for $125.

    Down in Brooklyn right now and enjoying some of this tastiness. Got Rossolee to thank for sterring me onto these guys a few years back. Hell or high watermelon wheat

  16. The filling: Beef with potato, cumin, chiles, onion, beef stock, cilantro, ham The construction: These fuckers were hard to roll and seal. Next time, no potato cubes. Pre-cooked product: nuff said. I forgot to take shots of them after they were cooked, so you'll just have to imagine them looking all awesome.
  17. Pics tomorrow. They turned out ok, but I used butter instead of lard and I feel like the pastry was too crispy in the end. I feel like the lard may have produced something with a softer texture. Served them with a chimichurri sauce which was pretty tasty - next time, I will leave out the potato cubes though. It was a bitch folding them with the startchy lil cubes in there. Can anyone corroborate that lard vs butter argument?
