  1. You should listen to your friend, Peipunk. He's a cool guy.
  2. There were a couple of tracks that were listenable, I'll concede that, but overall, atrocious.
  3. Excellent??? If by excellent you mean another foray into displaying their recent ineptitude to write a great song, then yes, it was excellently outstanding.

    BEER!!

Cask Days was fully awesome this year. I'll definitely be going back. http://caskdays.com/
  12. I think there were more that that, Jay - but not a ton more. I was talking to a buddy who told me that they sold 280 tickets in advance and then there were probably another 100 who bought at the door. Great show though! St Augs->32 things was a highlight, as was Time Ed and Tom Sawyer.
  13. Made a real tasty cauliflower and cheese soup yesterday, somewhat freestyled. 1/2 cup butter 1 onion, diced 2 small carrots, diced 2 stalks celery, diced 1 TBLsp hot pepper flakes 2 big pinches of salt 2 TBLsp oregano 1 head cauliflower 4 cups chicken stock about 1.5 cups milk 4 cups shredded old cheddar and Mo'Jack cheese, mixed. big handful of finely chopped dill and parsley - Melt butter until medium brown in dutch oven on medium heat. - Sauté onion, carrot, celery until soft and onion is translucent. - Add cauliflower, oregano, hot pepper flakes. Cook until cauliflower starts to brown on outside. - Add stock and milk. - Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover. Stir occasionally. - Cook until Cauliflower is extremely tender. Remove from heat and puree. - add shredded cheese in small handfuls, stirring after each one. Add chopped herbs. - Adjust seasoning. Serve with sliced baguette, a few drops of truffle oil and Football on TV.
  14. I have a copy of a hot sauce recipe ebook my chef friend that lives in Tokyo sent me. I will pass it along - there's a ton in there.
  15. Man, you should go see VW, Dinghy - If they're remotely as good live as they are on record, it's going to be a great show.
  16. Go BEARS! And by go, I mean the best I can hope for is a 9 and 8 season. At best.
