Shit, nothing like waking up early on a Wednesday with an unexpected hangover to realize that your holiday is half over. Oh well, not to step on the "what's everybody listening to" thread but let's peak inside everybody's CD players and see what's going on.

1. Phish 2.21.03

2. Phish 2.22.03

3. Phish 2.28.03

The sad thing is this is sooo true. However, I truly believe that it is also a testament to how much fun I had in Cinci and the unbelievable quality of all of these shows. It's just nice to have the option for NEW stuff. However, when I not phishin we've got:

1. Ben Harper: Diamonds on the Inside - beautiful and diverse

2. Bright Eyes - Lifted - this kid is a brilliant songwriter and arranger

3. Zwan - Rock OUT!

4. moe 5.1.02 - thanks for the recommendations folks

5. Beth Gibbons and Rustin Man - Portishead singer goes solo, does well

and away we go!

1. Harry Manx - Wise & Otherwise

2. Pavement - Slanted & Enchanted: Live & Reduxe

3. Warsaw Pack - Gross Domestic Product

4. Boards of Canada - Twoism

5. Be Good Tanyas - Blue Horse

and if I could throw in a few extas:

6. Bill Frisell - The Willies

7. The Clash - Sandanista!

8. Blues States (thanks Eric)

9. Røyksopp (thanks Shain)

Hmmmm, well I just keep adding to my at-work MP3 collection (currently at 3285 songs and counting) but I can tell you what I've ripped/downloaded most recently:

Special Ed and the Musically Challenged - Are You Okay?

Mike Freedman - Postcards From The South

Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die

Squeeze - Singles 45's and Under

Phish - both Cinci shows from livephish.com

And I'm currently psyching up for the drive to Ottawa tomorrow - considering my company (Mark & Will from Uncle Seth plus sound-dude/resident-heavy-drinker Chris) I'm looking at bringing some Elvis Costello, Rush, perhaps some old school prog, maybe some Seal for something mellow...

MMMMMmmmmm, now that's good squishy!

Peace,

Mr. M.

Nice picks KevO! Two-ism is a GREAT disc. It's re-release of an earlier EP, but nonetheless it holds up quite nicely with Geoghaddi and The Music Has The Right To Children.

I've also heard great things about Røyksopp, but I haven't listened to them yet.

From the sound of things you would probably enjoy Tosca, Thievery Corporation, and Gotan Project.

As for my 5 discs:

1- Massive Attack "100th Window"

2- Gotan Project "La Revancha Del Tango"

3- moe. "Wormwood"

4- Trey Anastasio 02-11-02

5- Nirvana "MTV Unplugged in New York"

As usual I'm all over the board.

Lake Trout - Volume For The Rest Of It (love it)

Rheostatics - Whale Music (a masterpiece)

Grant Green - Live At The Lighthouse (so funky)

STS9 - 4-21-02 (unreal crispiness)

Kyuss - Welcome To Sky Valley (fuckin' rocks)

I stand alone on the cliffs of the world.

No one ever tends to me.

Sitting alone covered in rays.

Some things are so my mind can breath

Yup that Boards Of Canada is a pretty cool album! I forget how I heard about 'em but I was at first just kinda interested in a young band from Sweden (???) naming their band Boards of Canada. I'll check out Gotan on Kazaa for sure. I like the Thievery Corp too, good stuff.

Hey, why so little action on the 5-disc rotation thread???

Moe - Wormwood

Phish - Round Room

Gov't Mule - Deep End Vol II

Dead - 06-27-95 (perhaps, the most under-rated show of 95)

Phish - 02-16-03

I have issues............. [Razz]

I should also include the TAB tracks from his website. I cant get enough of TAB.

That's right Sloth, I cant get enough of it.
