Velvet
Okay Hamilton folks, I need info on a hotel to book for Thursday night. Must have parking, be within stumbling distance of Pepperjacks, be fairly reasonable, and not freak out over having 6-10 people in a room. I know there was another thread about this but you know what? I don't care. I want my own damn thread about it.
Tooly
there is a sheridan in the mall about half a block from pepperjacks, there is an HJ about the same distance in the other direction. i know theres more but those will do for a start
Velvet
Not to be a pain in the butt, but if you could tell me the street names these hotels are on it would make it easier for me to call the right place.
paisley
those are both on King St., as Tooly says they're close to the bar but I'll add they might be a little pricey (but you should check) this site here should look after any contact needs you have believe the band and countrycowboy (others?) are holed up at The Admiral Inn on Dundurn St. for that night
Velvet
Thanks paisley, that's helps a lot, except I don't know which ones are close to the venue. Is The Admiral Inn within stumbling distance?
hamilton
The Admiral Inn is a significantly longer stumble than either the Sheridan or the HoJo (a short cab ride would be better, if you're truly stumbling), but it is also significantly less expensive. secondtube
nope. not stumbling distance... cheap cab distance though....around five dollar ride. stumbling distance would be the two tooly mentioned. i'd do the admiral though....pay the five bucks...'specially with others staying there. hamilton
The Sheridan is about a block away from the venue - HoJo, maybe four blocks. The Admiral Inn is about a 25-minute walk, maybe more if you're loaded.
paisley
what they said... if you aren't up to high classing it go for The Admiral, otherwise the hotels right downtown are fairly nice

\/\/illy
For the record, I live two blocks from the Admiral Inn and I stumble back and forth to PJC all the time. I used to live 100m away on York and I still stumbled back and forth. PS: What's Thursday night?
paisley
PS: What's Thursday night? think he meant Friday, Thursday night is the Toronto showactually, perhaps they're coming into Hamilton after the Toronto show and staying until Saturday morning
bradm
Okay Hamilton folks, I need info on a hotel to book for Thursday night. Why Thursday? The Hamilton Slip show is on Friday night (according to Slip tour dates). (Please disregard the question if you're coming to Hamilton on Thursday for some other reason.) Aloha, Brad
