bradm
No, you didn't miss the announcement. I did the upload yesterday, which finished mid-morning, and then it took several hours to get through channels (approval, transfer, etc.). I checked last night around 8pm, and it still wasn't ready, so I left it overnight. I'm not sure about the URL that Esau gave; it works, but I have a different one for the show: http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=21012 which was taken from the list of nero's 2004 archive shows. Enjoy, folks! Aloha, Brad
aberg83
Damn, Brad, you were a nero taping machine in 2004!
Freak By Night
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Brad, you are the man! Thanks very much for providing the community with so many fine recordings!
bradm
You're welcome, all (and thanks for the thanks). It's been a continuing pleasure of mine to be able to use my meager skills to share the joy I've experienced at shows. Aloha, Brad

dave-O
I was just thinking the opposite - great recording, nice low end but very chatty at points. Thanks BradM!
bradm
Well, the low end gets a bit much later on (e.g., into "Lemondust" at the end of the third set). It's not distortion in the recording (the levels were fine to the Nomad, and the mic channels weren't peaking), so it might be some weird kind of resonance. As for the chattiness, well, with the pillar now gone, the mics end up smack in the middle of the crowd (with people all around, and near the bar), so you get a bit more crowd noise. I actually kind of liked the enthusiasm you can hear in the crowd; it adds to the whole "this-is-a-shared-experience" kind of thing. Esau
I'm not sure about the URL that Esau gave; it works, but I have a different one for the show:http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=21012which was taken from the list of nero's 2004 archive shows.Enjoy, folks!Aloha,Brad Same link Brad.Except that I originally started on this page: http://www.archive.org/audio/etreelisting-browse.php?collection=etree&cat=nero Which is how I bookmark any bands music on archive.Maybe that has somthing to do with the added numbers in the link (right click properties),I dunno. But I also opened the page from the same page as you mentioned.(nero's 2004 archive shows)Ahh well, they both work and the music is the goal here anyway, just thought I'd mention how I got to it.Cheers & as always my friend, thanks for getting this on archive so quickly, very much appreciated.Note: I grabbed this via the Archive FTP (thanks guigsy) and man was I impressed with the speed, the whole show took about an hour and a half (or so) to download opposed to the 4 hour + from the site it self.
