The following music was played on CKCU's "Now's the Time" on March 31, 2005.

Since when can't you play a track with swearing on it on CKCU? Hell, even CHEZ still plays Who Are You?

CKCU's cool. They don't have a problem with the 'f' bomb being dropped a couple of times....it's just that it's being used a dozen or so times, gets to be a tad bit excessive.

That and the fact that BradM hoped it would be a wholesome family show, as he may have had some young impressionable listeners tuning in.

I wouldn't want my son & daughter hearing that track, at least not just yet.

P.S Happy birthday BradM. You do great work.

Great tunes, lads! Can't believe some of the new (to me) music I'm discovering these days. It's like I'm 18 again.....and that wasn't yesterday ;)

With a corporate stranglehold on the public airwaves, I'd long since given up hope of finding anything but sh!t on the radio, but what folks like yourselves and the Rev, tonberry etc are doing through campus radio is wonderful. It's so great to hear folks who are actually passionate about what they're doing and what they're playing. I hope you guys get a chance to do it again...real soon.

Yeah, let's hear it for campus/community radio. I can't handle commercial radio, unless the dj happens to be Chuck (of Rose Garland) on Y108, who I know to be driven by a real love for music, who has a voice that was born to do FM radio, and who's, well, funny in a way that too many people on commercial radio aren't. Otherwise, I have no time for it; I would never have heard live Dead, along with every other sort of thing I like, on the radio were it not for stations like CIUT here in TO or CKMS in KW (though the latter was overtaken by evangelicals, last thing I heard :P ).

Kudos for all you good people filling the airwaves with good tunes.
