PassedOutGuy
Just listened to the encore... I LOVE how this band is progressing along... Les on backing guitar is starting to stand out more on the tapes as well giving more room for Trey... fluffhead77
my peeps were at the show and said the encore was flawless...would anyone else second that?
TimmyB
I like Trey have been loving the Beatles lately. Not that I don't always love the Beatles, but I've been into them a little more lately after getting tickets to two Paul McCartney shows this upcoming fall. Which has got me listening to a little more of the Fab Four than usual.A friend of mine said that he hopes that when we see Paul McCartney in the fall that he would perform the second side of "Abbey Road."Leave it to Trey Anastasio to do it first in 2005, not that I'm holding my breath for McCartney to do the same. Deeps
I was at the show on the 13th.The covers were well done and exciting to be a part of. The Golden Slumbers/Carry that Weight combo of tunes is my favourite Beatles experience. To be in New York and at such a beautiful venue with great sound and atmosphere and to have it go down before my eyes and ears was a great treat.Sledgehammer ruled and so did Space Oddity (Sweet jam at the end). There were some highs and lows to the show that I think are better addressed under the "What do you think of Trey's new stuff?" thread from last week.I'll grab that and finish my thoughts there. This board and the knowledge and opinons shared between the music thinkers on it made the show that much more enjoyable for me.Deeps

secondtube
i hope we 'dont' get a space oddity in toronto, unless trey learns how to play it and sing it properly before then...he really made me appreciate Bowie that much more...
skelter
'The End' was far too short ... but overall a very good job
