arcane
Is it too early to put up the tree? I hope not. We got a head start, too. Like, we still have decorations up from *last* Christmas. This year I'll be getting a gift that opens *me* up. Let's see if I can pull a Maggie Trudeau and have *two* kids born on Christmas Day ... bradm
I'm thinking it'll be like taking the packet of stuffing out of the turkey. I'm not glad I'm thinking of that, but I have very little control over such things...Aloha,Brad
arcane
In this case, the turkey gets to push out the stuffing. Urgh. At the least the hospital provides free access to a tank of nitrous oxide in the delivery room.
Birdy
i don't think so.. i like to put up outside decorations now before it's too bloody cold outside to do it. i'm a stickler for at least waiting for Remembrance Day to pass. I hate it when people break out the Christmas stuff before then.doesn't it seem like in recent years there's been a whole wave of anti-christmasism going on? people complaining about other peoples decorations or when and where christmas music is being played, etc? all of the anti-corporates out there are using this particular holiday as one big "case in point" for their arguments. that really sucks for Christmas.. that's all i have to say. I wonder what Christmas will be like in say twenty years. Hopefully, I'll stay tuned.
arcane
Outside decorations? I'm talking about the snowmen, garlands and Santa Clauses in the family room.
phorbesie
good luck with getting that present out isn't it just like a man to liken birthing to turkey stuffing...lol not that i have any more of a clue about such things... ! voodoolady
Ha Ha! We still have our Christmas stockings up from last year, we forgot to take them down. One less thing to do I guess. Dinghy and I like to wait until a couple of weeks before the actual day to put up decorations and our tree. Usually 2nd or third week of December. Swan
I've got a Christmas CD called Seven Gates, its done by "Ben Keith & Friends". Anyways its got Neil Young guesting on a couple of tracks including a duet with Johnny Cash singing Little Drummer Boy. Amazon.com has it for $4.00. Rob Not Bob
One of my favorites is a bootleg Bruce Springsteen comp called Jingle Boss Rock. The last track, Pilgrim In The Temple Of Love, is endearingly filthy. I also love Low's version of Little Drummer Boy, as well as Beck's Little Drum Machine Boy.
