bradm
What is "Surface" in Ottawa? It's a club on York St. I've heard of, but never been to. It seems a bit weird that Metric would play there, as I'd think they'd be able to sell out a big venue (Barrymore's, or Capital Music Hall) easily.Aloha,Brad

AD
What is "Surface" in Ottawa? Post deleted... Confidentiallity... Cat's out of the bag though, keep discussing. We can rephrase like this I guess. 'So, Capital Music Hall has to move. Surface is booking shows that Capital would normally book, but for after Capital has to move. Capital and Surface are owned by the same people. Strange coincedences there eh?' AD Edited November 23, 2005 by Guest
AD
FWIW, capacity at Surface is 650 and they are working hard to increase that. So it will still be the biggest club music venue in OttawaAD

hamilton
The Stones must be loving the Canadian bands lately, because I believe I also heard on the radio that Sloan are opening for them in Boston.
