Esau
The 11-year old Japanese girl best known for her scandalous F-cups vaulted into world-wide fame through an article printed in the Japan Times which stated her presence may ease tension between China and Japan. The article mentions the busty Saaya’s picture posted on a popular Chinese Internet forum with a slogan reading: “"An 11-year-old Japanese girl with large breasts has a proclamation for all Chinese people! Dear elder brothers, a beautiful young Japanese girl is beseeching you. "Please stop these anti-Japanese hijinks. If you don't, I won't like you anymore." To make the entire ordeal more sordid, the slogan continues that her breasts would "rise up" if the people "unite for the sake of China's democracy." Not sure what to make of this article. I do feel like I broke a law just reading it. LOL.
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Good work on the title!I guess this only makes sense for the country that has the largest market for porn on the planet. The other thing I wonder is - F-cup? Is that analogous to those Japanese "large" condoms that would be taxed to the point of criminal liability going over a pencil?[Edit to add: hyperbole wins the day here. The brain reels with an acute sadness, and wonder at all the cultural layers this must play on in its own context. *sigh*.] Edited January 16, 2006 by Guest
Calamity Jane
As a result of all this attention, the members of her singing troupe “Sweet Kiss,†which include 13-year old Runa and 11-year old Jessica, have also considered no longer posing in bikini’s. A statement by Ishida Yuuichiro, the groups management, revealed that they had never expected such feedback from the internet and adult magazines. He concludes that although the media attention was beneficial for the group, he didn’t want them to focus on Saaya’s large breasts and wanted the group to be recognized for talent and not Saaya’s large breasts.*So I guess wanting to be recognized for talent is what prompted them call themselves First Kiss and pose in bikins in the first place! (My head hurts with this kind of logic)* empahsis is mine

Dr_Evil_Mouse
Well that would make sense, of course. I'm trying not to veer off now into a tangent about how puberty is getting triggered earlier and earlier by hormone-mimetic chemicals in the environment.... Still, sunny Monday morning and all. (It was either that or a tangent about Japanese atrocities in China in the 1930s and 40s. Everybody's gotta do their part for world peace, I guess, even unwitting girls who don't get that history in their own schools.)

StoneMtn
Am I the only one upset about the political reason behind this exploitation -- that the Japanese were attempting to 'whitewash war crimes' in their history books? I'm not sure which is worse -- that the Japanese are trying to 'bribe' the Chinese into accepting a rewrite of history by showing them [clothed] juvenile breasts or that Chinese men seem to be buying into it. The rape of Nanking? Who cares, look at these breasts! That's frightening. If I saw this in a movie (and it wasn't an obvious parody of the human condition) I would think how totally unrealistic it is. And I'd be wrong."- Dan, Illinoishttp://www.thisistrue.com/saayairie.html
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Maybe the Japanese PR guys figured the phrase "comfort women" had been out of the headlines long enough to try this one out.
