At what point is a question given up on? And if it's decided to give up on a question, and beg the asker for the answer, who asks the next question?

Aloha,

Brad

I think that it sould be agreed that when people stop coming up with guesses, or the asker is requested to reveal the answer then, the asker is the reining champ and gets to ask another question.

...but we ain't there yet.

AM has been closest so far, so I'll give him the win.

In Rock Scully's book, he talks about how users of "persian" heroin on tour would be given a daily ration of it. It was smoked through tubes that had been lined with foil, the foil turned back inwards at the far end. Any smoke or vapours that got into the tube but which hadn't been inhaled would accumulate in the turned-in bit; these leftovers could then later be scraped out and used. The scrape-out was known as "rat".

You're up, 'bama.

Aloha,

Brad

...man, I need to re-read that book, been ten years since I have.

ok..here we go.

Another rather easy one...

When was Keith Godchaux's first show & where?

10/19/71 Northorp Aud. university of Minn.

Killer show includes debut performances of "Ramble On Rose", "Mexicali Blues", "Jack Straw" and "Tennessee Jed". A real turining point.
