I'd love to get in on that set shmoozing as we need the same treatment for Ottawa.

I do want to see Land of Talk as I've seen Elizabeth perform with Brad, Andrew and Felber and she's got a great voice.

The one exception to the 'no one's heard of the Slip in Guelph' rule is this. I was actually standing right in front of Vinyl on I think Monday night and a band Nova Farm was loading out of their practise there (it's not open Monday's)- and I'm sure I heard the Slip coming from one of the many apartments above the venue. Like it was really clearly, something off Angels Come On Time or Soft Machine. I'm pretty certain I wasn't having one of my not infrequent auditory hallucinations so I don't know - it seemed sort of omenous in a good way.
