MarcO
yeah he was a great reporter. I've been a semi-regular viewer of 60 Minutes for my whole teen/adult life and he was always one of my favorites. RIP Ed.

zero
That's pretty devastating news to me. Another of Hunter's buddies kicks the can. A beautiful man and a beautiful journalist. I'm reminded of Chris Rock talking about Bradley's interview with Michael Jackson and how Rock described him as, something to the effect, of wanting to wipe the stupid off Jackson's face. bradm
On "60 Minutes" tonight, they'll be running a tribute to Ed Bradley.http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/11/10/60minutes/main2172933.shtmlAmong those speaking about the other Bradley, affectionately known as "Teddy," are close friends Jimmy Buffett, the musician, journalist Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Wynton Marsalis, the artistic director of Jazz at Lincoln Center.Marsalis pays tribute to his friend with a trumpet solo at the end of the hour. One thing I didn't know is that Bradley was the voice/host of Jazz at Lincoln Center Radio.Aloha,Brad
edger
There were a lot of things I didn't know about him that I learned last night through this tribute. Truly an amazing man! But dude cannot sing... nonetheless his soul was in tune...
zero
The tribute was very touching. A couple of nice shots with Hunter and Jimmy Buffett was one of the key commentator's. I liked the whole bit about Teddy Badly. He seriously was a dude and a dude with hella style.
