MarcO
I think BS did a French version for the massive Quebec market but I am presuming the title would not be "Turn The lights On".

AD
11. Big Sugar - Turn the Lights Onwhat? Chauffe à bloc by Canadian blues-rock band Big Sugar' date=' released in 1999.Beginning with the single "Opem Up Baby", from their 1996 album Hemi-Vision, Big Sugar decided to record a French language version of that song for radio airplay in Quebec. The experiment was successful, so for 1998's Heated, the band recorded a French rendition of each single released from that album, as well as a French-only cover of Gilles Valiquette's 1973 hit "Je suis cool".Chauffe à bloc collects all five of the French songs. For their next album, 2001's Brothers and Sisters, Are You Ready?, the band recorded the entire album in both English and French, and simultaneously released both versions as separate albums. The French recording was titled Brothers & Sisters, êtes-vous Ready?.Translation assistance on the lyrics was provided by the Quebec rock band Les Respectables.[edit'] Track listingEach song's original English title is noted in parentheses. Note that the English and French titles are not necessarily direct translations of each other. Although "Better Get Used To It" is recorded in French, its title was not translated. 1. "(Pas) Envie d'allumer" ("Turn the Lights On") 2. "Je suis cool" 3. "C'est moi qui règne" ("The Scene") 4. "Better Get Used To It (Version Française)" 5. "Ouvres-toi bébé" ("Opem Up Baby")Dinghy just got the name wrong.
