After negotiations, the USPS relented, allowing the band use of the trademark in exchange for promotional efforts on behalf of the USPS and a performance at their annual National Executive Conference. Has anyone else noticed that Add It Up by the Violent Femmes is now a Wendy's commercial??? I mean, seriously; when I met them and saw them in 1984 I was one of dozens of people who cared. Now, they're used as an endorsement???(Don't even get me started about the recent use of The Buzzcocks or The Descendents in commercials...)
