Irie Guy
Wow the Hippiefest smells of 10000+ empty seats. Heck if Furthur only managed to sell 4000 ticks in TO this one has got to stink.
Kanada Kev
Fogerty and Hippiefest are what I was thinking of. SHIT, if you win 'em they are FREE, so who cares?Fogerty is absolutely amazing live. I had the pleasure of getting to see him twice over the last few years. Great performer, and his voice hasn't changed a bit! Corky and Leslie from Mountain can rock hard. They will make Hippiefest good and loud. You like Mule? You'd enjoy Mountain (that's why Warren had Corky come up and play with them).Free club seats for a few summer gigs?
edger
I'd go see Fogerty for free for sure! That's probably about it though... summer is busy.
Jaimoe
I actually like a few Snow Patrol tunes. My wife loves them. Fogerty is at the top of his game right now, and the scary thing is he ages at the same rate as Dick Clark.

He is officially over-ripe and started to melt. A couple of more rockers who have aged ubelievably well (or were just older looking to start out ) are Steve Winwood and John Paul Jones! Kanada Kev
I said "same rate", so John has a number of years until he gets over-ripe.Sorry man. That is very true. I was just thinking of when I saw Dick last NYE (or was it the one before) when he made his comeback appearance after his stroke. It was really quite sad to see how much it had effected him and his rapid aging/plastic melting.
Jaimoe
There's also a point when aging men start to look like old women. Cases in point Phil Spector, Peter O'Toole, Bill Wyman etc...
