SmoothedShredder
Ah, Green Bays running game is improving every week... sure it's not Adrian Peterson territory, and never will be... but they're getting close to 100 combined a game... and while Minnesota has no doubt the better run game... Green Bay has them trumped in every other area... plus the Pack got 3 great defensive tackles who can put a kink in the Peterson run attack. That being said... the all time series between the Pack and Vikings is at .500, and the Pack have already won their 1st match this year. So just as much as the Pack should win on paper... the Vikings are due. Still, outside of some poorly timed pass interference calls, and them not being the Patriots... the Pack have probably the best defensive depth in the league. That's where they're strength is... oh and a new crop of receivers who know how to get in the way of a Brett Farve fastball.Bottom line... it's a coin toss... and when it comes time to end the game... Green Bay will at least be in a position to win.
Booche
Yeah, I have taken Seattle and Pittsburgh. My other issue with New Orleans this weekend is St Louis is coming off their bye, Steven Jackson is expected to play and the Rams have to win sooner or later! Thanks for the insight boys. I appareciate it. I think Shredder just scared me off Green Bay. Well, I am pretty sure I was staying away from them anyways because our other opponent will probably take them this week. SmoothedShredder
Wow... didn't expect THAT outta Green Bay today... but I'm NOT complaining! IF we found a run game (Minnesota was #1 against the run before today).. GB could be a real contender in the NFC (and earn the right to be the huge underdog in the superbowl ) I also had the disprivildge of watching the bills and fish duke it out cause my godfather likes the Bills... what an awful game... how many runs up the middle for no yards were there? Fugly.
Whitey
Sorry Booche, NO sucked ass yesterday and played like they had for the first 4 games of the season. On a positive note, I did take St.Louis to cover, which was one of two winning ProLine tickets.
Whitey
It kills me to have to miss this early game today. It will probably be the best game of the day. It is just not the same watching the gamecast from Espn. I took the Pack, Dallas, and Indy to cover the spread.

Booche
The last 2 surivor players each went with Arizona this weekend, so we are awaiting word whether they are going to split the pot or keep going. They best not split it.

jaybone
Looking forward to tonight's match game! Two quality teams with only one loss each. I've been waiting for Green Bay to fall apart all year, but they are starting to look like they are a ligit team! Should be a good one.
Whitey
Agreed, tonight will be a good test to see how good Green Bay really is. I am eager to see how well their running game performs against Dallas' run defense.
Booche
Dig this Whitey. My buddy called last night. There are 7 left in his Suicide Pool. 23 thousand dollar grand prize. He's only got 2 realistic choices and is trying to decide between taking Denver over Oakland or Minny over Detroit. Ouch. Whitey
Wow, that is a lot of $$$. I think that I would go with Denver over the Raiders. I hope that Brett Favre is ok. I would hate to see his streak ended.

Booche
Terry Bradshaw just pointed out that the Redskins only sent out 10 men on the field for their first defensive play, in tribute to Sean Taylor.
djmelbatoast
That would have seemed like a pretty stupid tribute if Buffalo(?) had scored on that play.
PassedOutGuy
Not really... i respected Washington for doing that... what was really stupid was a coach of Joe Gibbs stature blowing the game for his team by calling two timeouts in a row before the game winning field goal... you would think he would know thats considered delay of game.Let's go Buffalo! Hal Johnson
A guy from work and I were just talking about the play...He swears he's seen teams do it before, even calling three time-outs in a row with no penalty...leads me to belive its a judgement call on the part of the ref. If thats the case, that ref is a jerk. Edited December 3, 2007 by Guest
