NewRider
Since October my iPod has deleted everything off it three times. Anyone know why this is happening? It always happens while it's plugged in to the computer. I wonder if there is a virus or something but AVG always finds no viruses. WHAAAA HAPPEN?!?!? The D Funk
hey newrider i think your problem is that your ipod is set to automatically manage songs rather than maually manage them yourself. This means that your computer automatically mirrors whatever is in your librabry in the itunes program. this used to happen to me all the time. check under options/settings you should be able to figure it out!! hope that helps

NewRider
Thanks dudes. Hopefully this doesn't happen again. The biggest piss off is that I almost had it all synced again and the computer restarted itself and it erased all the progress! Fuck, I could've kicked the shit outta this computer! bouche
yeah, manage your own music is a good way to go if you know how to drag and drop but don't forget that if you delete something from your library that you have on your ipod, you WILL NOT be able to copy it back to your computer from your ipod. Irie Guy
... you WILL NOT be able to copy it back to your computer from your ipod.Well there are plenty of programs that can take care of that problem for you if it arises.
phishtaper
i added a bunch of cd's to someone's creative labs zen a couple of years ago, and after all was said and done, i somehow ended up with a bunch of josh groben and rod stewart in my computer library from the zen. (guilty pleasure: i like it and often listen to it in my underwear)
