Kanada Kev
There won't be line-ups for the mens bathrooms. What? Rosie O'Donnell will be using them i'm sure of it
Patchoulia
I seem to recall the bathroom lineups being particularly annoying at Lilith Fair, I imagine this will be a similar demographic.
Jaimoe
I'll wager that there'll be a fair number of gay men in attendance that like Cyndi and The B-52's. I know. Let the verbal barrage begin.
Patchoulia
I think you're right..they've been known to have a pretty big gay following. And Carson Cressly (I'm not sure how that's spelled) from Queer Eye is hosting.

Patchoulia
Then again, I'm not sure bathroom lineups will necessarily be an issue..I suspect the ticket sales aren't going too well or the promotor wouldn't have unloaded all these freebies on us. bradm
They should give away tickets to the show, then charge admission to the bathrooms...Aloha,Brad

Patchoulia
A devoted advocate for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) community for over 25 years, Cyndi Lauper launched the annual True Colors Tour in 2007. In partnership with organizations like the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG), this North American tour brings people together to voice their solidarity for GLBT equality and raise awareness about the continued discrimination the community still faces. From Cyndi and her openly gay sister, Elen, taking part in a highly successful national public awareness campaign for PFLAG to participating in countless events to raise funds and awareness for the fight for GLBT equality, Cyndi is committed to this vital community that has loved and supported her throughout her career. In appreciation for her work, Cyndi has been honored by many organizations including HRC, PFLAG, and the Matthew Shepard Foundation.

phishtaper
ive always thought cyndi lauper is really under-rated. she typecast herself as an mtv nutbar 25 years ago with enormously successful 'novelty' hits (which have actually stood the test of time, thank you very much) and it took a while to shake that general reputation (unlike 'slutty' madonna who butterflied in only a few years). her songs are well crafted. and she has a great voice - sometimes squeeky, but more often very soulful. it's nice that she's now recognized as an authentic artist. and the B-Fifty-Fucking-Two's!! very cool line-up!!
