bouche
I bought a book called "getting things done" 1.5 years ago. I am only 2 chapters in.
EddieRamser
It took me about 15 attempts over 2-3 years to finally quit the darts and other than a 2 month long relapse a year and a half ago I've been cigarette free for about 6 years. I never used any aid or drug to help. I still think about going to the store and buying the dirty old cigarettes from time to time but I like to think I am off them for good. Many of my friends still smoke and curse every but they put out. I think anyone can quit, but you have to truly want to. It ain't easy.I may check in to that book to see what it says. jayr
I'm 2/3 of the way through the book and I've got to admit that the way he gets you to look at it is great. I plan to finish the book in the next couple days and be finished with smoking too. Thanks for sharing.

Velvet
I suspect every library in Canada would stock Allen Carr's The Easy Way To Quit Smoking, ISBN# 978-0973468403, plus it can be ordered here for $14.99cdn.http://www.amazon.ca/Allen-Carrs-Easy-Stop-Smoking/dp/0973468408/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1240207368&sr=1-

Tricky
Where is the thread for those of us that were never dumb enough to start smoking because it's expensive and fucking gross.noige.True, smoking is gross...is SMOKING limited to cigarettes only? Some people I know smoke weed...have you ever inspected the inside of a bong after years and years of use? That's what is going on in your lungs.Smoking weed or cigarettes is fairly fucking gross and expensive, it's just that one of those makes you feel "better".If you're breathing smoke into your lungs, no matter the substance, you're smoking.
