Birdy
I'm planning a summer roadtrip through Quebec City and the Gaspe Peninsula and am wondering if anyone has recommendations for campgrounds, parks, etc. for accommodations and general stuff to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Blurry
Hey Birdy, Mud and I went that way on our honeymoon. We camped at Forillon National Park - BEAUTIFUL!!!http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/qc/forillon/index_e.aspAnd Perce Rock was great too - lot of tourists but worth the while.http://www.cbc.ca/sevenwonders/wonder_perce_rock.html
Birdy
Thanks Blurry! Perce Rock is really what spurred this idea - i remember seeing photos of it in a coffee table Canada photo book my parents had as a little girl and always wanted to go. Northern Wish
I knew this girl Mandy Jo from the Gaspe for a while...... The sites were spectacular to behold!
Freak By Night
The timing of your trip is critical Birdy - the Gaspésie has winter for about 9 months of the year. If you go in July, you should be fine.
Thorgnor
August is cool, uncomfortably cool.

Blane
went a couple of years ago and loved it. WEnt to Forillion, and hiking in the chic chocs. There's some fantastic camping on the way. Did some kayaking there with whales and phoques (what are they in english again? seals?) all over the place. Great times.
Rary8
There is often a Rainbow Gathering in that area on the full moon of August...
