Davey Boy 2.0
So I was thinking the other day about how when I take the munchkin out somewhere, I usually find myself looking for a Dad shirt to wear. For me it's generally a chequered shirt with a collar In the pre-Holly days for me it was "throw on whatever's cleanest" and go I've been toying with the idea of knee-high black socks, shorts, white shoes and a bowling shirt but that's way down the road Have yu changed your attire since becoming a Dad?!?!? Apologies for the geekyness of this thread Edited July 24, 2009 by Guest

Gateaux
Our dad went through a phase of wearing Zubaz pants in his fifties with various NFL team colours. He was kinda like a fat, white, MC hammer.

boiler
I can't say I've changed my clothes, the hemp necklaces are out though. Besides, who can afford clothes now anyway, all the clothes money goes to the boy cuz he grows out of things in like weeks.

backbacon
I wear socks and sandals in the evenings when I go out if there's a chance of it getting cool out. So comfortable! People say, oh, what's the point, why don't you just wear shoes... yeah, having your whole foot all jammed in a shoe is exactly the same as a couple leather straps going across my foot with an added soft layer of fabric for coziness. Plus, I don't have to deal with the transition to socks and sandals when I get old.

StoneMtn
Who would choose to wear particular clothes, different than their normal clothes, becaue they now have a kid? That would be ridiculous, unless you were embarrassed about your former clothing. So .... "no". Of course not.
Davey Boy 2.0
apparently me, stnmtnedit to add: but the point was that previously I didn't care much about my appearance whereas now i do, at least moreso Edited July 25, 2009 by Guest

bagochips
Though not a Dad, I find this thread to be both entertaining and informative. Enterformative, if you will. Except for StoneMtn's post, who probably should be embarrassed about some of his former clothing choices.
