NewRider
Awesome! The last time I saw them was at the Molson Amphitheater and even in a venue that size it felt like you were watching them create the music in a studio. It would be great to see 'em at Massey! Kanada Kev
are you going to both Kev? I wish. Really though, Aja is one of my all time favourite albums. Definitely a "desert island" disc for me. Maybe if there seems to be some cheap-o $20 tickets i may try to go to experience The Royal Scam on thursday

deranger
$159.50? I would love to go, but prices like that are ridiculous.
Big Wooly Mammoth
just got back from the royal scam plus at dar constitution hall (washington, dc). tiny venue. great show as expected. they played for just over 2 hrs. on at 8:50, ended at a few minutes before 11:00. stellar band. fagen sounds great. one of the backup singers put a disc on a turntable right before they started royal scam, and then flipped sides at the appropriate moment. encore was reelin in the years. and they played aja, peg and josie, so we got almost half of the aja album. slavetothegroove
They're also playing two nights in Montreal this weekend. I will just happen to be there, so may see what ticket prices are like and if there's any left even. Really enjoyed they're set when they played Bluesfest a few years ago. Velvet
$159.50? I would love to go, but prices like that are ridiculous. I thought $59.50 was a pretty reasonable price.
Big Wooly Mammoth
amend my earlier post, only the second night in montreal has been cancelled.Due to unforseen circumstances, the Sunday November 29th show at Montreal’s Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier has been cancelled. Ticket holders for the cancelled performance may exchange their tickets for seats at the November 28th show. Exchanges must be made through the Place Des Arts Box Office at (514) 842-2112 or (866) 842-2112. Alternatively, refunds will be issued through the tickets' original point of purchase. For more info please contact the Place Des Arts Box Office at (514) 842-2112 or (866) 842-2112. and i totally forgot that i saw them at bluesfest. i found that show to be a bit underwhelming. not sure why. i recall it being quite short as well. seeing them in a small venue was a totally different experience. (although i did have a great time seeing them at the molson amphitheatre in around '97.)
