Northern Wish
I for one can't wait for next year. I have realized my follies and am prepped to take it to the next level....I did some stats on my team- if I had sat on my original team (no changes, waivers or trades- but assuming I could play them all in every game) I would be a whopping 24 points behind where I am right now.All that work for 24 points? I'd say if you don't draft well, just delete your bookmark and move along.....
Booche
Yeah Ctowns.....dont do it. You can only drop players in that fashion if Hal denies a legit trade and you want to fuckitup for everyone because he questioned your uncorrupted honorability. c-towns
I agree NW, it was my first crack at Fantasy anything and I now realize my mistakes. I was playing with an open roster spot for weeks along with having two key players on injured reserve for the first 2 months that i drafted. I also thought that I was going to be under my games played for all of my positions except goalie, turns out its the other way around. Having Mike Smith and Scott Clemmensen as my starting goalies didn't help either. I think I did pretty well givin all of those circumstances. c-towns
I can drop my right wingers if I run out of games to use them in order to fill up my extra games in goal or on D. Suck it whiners.
Northern Wish
You seem like a reasonable guy- I am sure you can see how this really isn't a viable solution.I've dumped just about every player I had that wasn't a star to get D and G's.I now have more D and G's than I can reasonably use- but they are all depth men so I only get a game week out of them at best.I held onto Zetterberg, Smyth, Plekanec etc to maintain a fair balance. If I had known it was going to come down this (minus games) I would have unloaded my all stars at the deadline for one good producing d man. dave-O
I can drop my right wingers if I run out of games to use them in order to fill up my extra games in goal or on D.Yeah, I have no problem with this.
Hal Johnson
What's going on? I haven't had time to check this in a loooong time. If you have no games left I guess it makes sense to drop those guys to fill up on position players that you still have room for...not really fair though for those fighting for top spot who don't get the waiver pick up... This is why I'm more partial to keeper leagues where you have to "buy" players, regulates this type of thing instinctively.

Northern Wish
In theory I have no problem with it: The potential problems arise if there is collusion, but I think we would see evidence of that pretty clearly right away in the league transactions page....So yeah- go nuts! Booche
How could there be collusion when there's this thing called 'waiver priority'?
