Jaimoe
Raptors home opener tonight against the Cavs. Any bets on how many wins they get this season? I think they'll be lucky to go .500.

Hal Johnson
Based on last night's game I'm gonna say they'll win 106 this year But seriously, they looked good. Turgkolu fits in nicely, and who is this Bargnani fellow?

Thorgnor
I think it's entirely possible that they could go for 45 wins... that said, I doubt they get past the second round of the playoffs regardless of their record. still, here's hopin'. Jaimoe
It's shocking to write this, but the Raptors defense won them the game. They made some nice stops and their rebounding was very good, especially considering that they had to cover Shaq inside and Lebron inside and outside. Hal Johnson
Here's how Raptor games go for me this year:Oh, cool, there's a Raptor game on. Nice, they've got a lot of new guys this year, should be fun to watch. Hey, look at that, it's the second (or third) quarter and they're winning by 12. Uh-oh, looks like the other team is putting together a little run. Aw, time-out, crap. I'll just change the channel to something else for a bit. Then I forget about Rap game until new show ends. Suddenly I remember the ball game! Switch back to the Raps. The other team is now winning 127-92. And worst of all, I miss the Swirsk dammit. Im sorry for any of the bad things I ever said about him. Didn't realize how good we had it. Sigh...
Jaimoe
I kinda miss Swirsky, but I don't miss his Fan radio show at all.The Raps are going through an identity crisis (Jack's observation from last night is bang-on). They are a better team than they were last year, but they still live and die by jumpshots.
Hal Johnson
145 - 115, Raps lose. I swear to god, they're gonna give up 200 points in a game this year.

Jaimoe
I find it interesting that Basher stopped talking smack regaring the Raptors the second he stopped going to games for free. MoMack
Kind of makes sense to stop talking about something as much if you're not seeing it as much doesn't it? Isn't that natural?
badams
They are in an easier part of their schedule right now. They need to beat these teams if they want to have a serious chance of making the playoffs.
Booche
I love a good Basher beatdown as much as the next guy but in this case I commend him because he has been a part of a season-ticket holder group since the Raptors were formed.
