ollie
...I’m slightly worried Anderson might try to win.Shit. Didn't think of that.ha-ha! Nice stop on Kessel in OT.As long as the Senators continue their vow not to score he's bound to let one in here and there and the losses can resume.Everything else about this truly shitty season aside, that was a really fun goaltending performance to watch. Northern Wish
From AllenPanzeri, one hour ago:Peter Regin could be gone for the season with an injury to his left shoulder. May need surgery. More tests tomorrow.
rubberdinghy
I'm worried whomever fills Regin's spot may actually score some goals, and therefore moving us up in the rankings. His projected 5 goals was looking purdy good. Hal Johnson
He's a good goalie, and the more I think of it the more I think Colorado was nuts to trade him for Elliot. You guys got lucky, methinks.
Booche
He's a UFA at the end of the season and turned down a 7.5 million 2 year deal from Colorado. They knew they were going to lose him for nothing so they flipped him for a more affordable/younger RFA backup. At least that is how it looks. Guest Low Roller
Brian Elliott looked like his good 'ol self last night in his debut in Colorado. Looks like the only thing this trade will accomplish is give the Sens a worse draft pick unless they convince Anderson to sign with them for next season. ollie
OTT receives conditional 7th round pick for Kovalev. If PIT wins 1st round of playoffs and Kovalev plays 50 per cent of games, it's a 6th.
TheSloth
Apparently Spezzer and the Butler didn't get the memo, Anderson is excused, he's new.The Edmonton and Ottawa games had eerily similar scoring lines. Glad the Oilers are keeping pace.As far as signing goaltenders goes, Anderson played two decent games, fuck rebuilding, the time is now! The Sens should immediately sign him to a long long term contract. Really committ hard. 4 mil a year over 5 sounds about right.Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out Kovie. rubberdinghy
I have a feeling they will try and re-sign him. I was responding to Rollers post Boochard. Kovalev was magic. I'm gonna miss the Russian.

TheSloth
There's 28.5% of the goals he scored that season right there.Kovie is a great talent but he's not HoF (HoF talent, definitely, career, no).
Booche
Maybe I have mistaken the end of your message Sloth but Kovalev is definitely a HOF talent. He just isnt worthy to gain entry.
TheSloth
Yeah yeah, that's what i said, probably poorly. Definitely HoF talent, just didn't put up the numbers.
