He lost his long battle with cancer on tuesday nite. I want to thank everyone for their vibes and support, they will not be forgotten.

Please try and pick up the next issue of Revolving Door, because it's dedicated to him.

From RevDoor- Dec 2002:

One last comment; I dedicate this regional report to my dear friend Howard Schwartz who passed away after a long battle with cancer on November 12th. You were an inspiration to all of us who were graced by your presence and I hope that one-day I can say I was half the person you were. You will be sorely missed.

Thanks again. you guys mean the world to me- Shain

I'm not doing so well tonite, but time heals all wounds.

I just wanted to thank everyone again. I'm not a crazy emotional person and bearing my world on the board was a little selfish and obtrusive and I appreciate everyone's kind wishes.

I wish you all a healthy, happy and peaceful rest of the week.

Peace and much love-shain

Peace to you brother. Your friend has found it.

We all have our day.

A long walk in the forest or a good drunk in a bar where you don't know anyone can be good at such times.

Never feel bad for expressing yourself when you need to.

Grateful Dead. Strange name for a strange band with strange fans who care.

Live life fully. Happy prayers for Howard. You lucked into knowing him.

Echo of MarcO... I'm sorry for your loss.

see you tonight if you're out...

I read a book with this quote which I have often passed on to friends who are grieving. I think it is beautiful and gives some peace and reason when dealing with someone we love passing on.

*********************************

Dear Fox, old friend,

thus we have come to the end of the road

that we were to go together.

My tale is finished -- and so farewell.

But before I go,

I have just one more thing to tell you:

Something has spoken to me in the night,

burning the tapers of the waning year;

Something has spoken in the night,

and told me I shall die, I know not where, saying:

"To lose the earth you know,

for greater knowing;

to lose the life you have,

for greater life;

to leave the friends you loved,

for greater loving;

to find a land more kind than home,

more large than earth;

Whereon the pillars of this earth are founded,

toward which the conscience of the world is tending--

a wind is rising, and the rivers flow."

Take care... it is always an inspiration when someone's life touches another life so deeply.
