backbacon
In the beautiful place he is in now, I'm sure Howard is missing the hapiness and comfort of your company, as you are his. AD
I don't deal well with these situations at all, but I can say that it really helps to have this kind of support network, as inpersonal as it is, to help people along the way. Stay strong, AD
shainhouse
I'm not doing so well tonite, but time heals all wounds. I just wanted to thank everyone again. I'm not a crazy emotional person and bearing my world on the board was a little selfish and obtrusive and I appreciate everyone's kind wishes. I wish you all a healthy, happy and peaceful rest of the week. Peace and much love-shain

A long walk in the forest or a good drunk in a bar where you don't know anyone can be good at such times. Never feel bad for expressing yourself when you need to. Grateful Dead. Strange name for a strange band with strange fans who care. Live life fully. Happy prayers for Howard. You lucked into knowing him. Echo of MarcO... M
I read a book with this quote which I have often passed on to friends who are grieving. I think it is beautiful and gives some peace and reason when dealing with someone we love passing on. ********************************* Dear Fox, old friend, thus we have come to the end of the road that we were to go together. My tale is finished -- and so farewell. But before I go, I have just one more thing to tell you: Something has spoken to me in the night, burning the tapers of the waning year; Something has spoken in the night, and told me I shall die, I know not where, saying: "To lose the earth you know, for greater knowing; to lose the life you have, for greater life; to leave the friends you loved, for greater loving; to find a land more kind than home, more large than earth; Whereon the pillars of this earth are founded, toward which the conscience of the world is tending-- a wind is rising, and the rivers flow." --by Thomas Wolfe from 'You Can't Go Home Again' ********************************* Take care... it is always an inspiration when someone's life touches another life so deeply.
