Velvet Posted March 31, 2005 Report Share Posted March 31, 2005 Here's a story: When I was about thirteen, my second cousin (who lived near us, so I saw her quite a bit), who was the same age as me, bought her first and only ever lottery ticket, for Lottario, and she won $25,000. As she was underage her parents claimed it, she was allowed to spend $1,000 and then she put the rest in a fund until she was eighteen. When she turned eighteen she cashed in, bought a car, partied her ass off, and six months later, broke again, got in a car accident and that was it for her. Not lucky, but an interesting story.
