found more... akron/family and the low anthem in montreal early in the year. Harry manx is coming to NAC, not sure what his short stories music thingy is. I couldn't find any blacksheep shows that I recognized, but a night in wakefield for a blacksheep show, and dinner/room at the Mill is a great gift to impress a chick.

A friend at work is looking for an xmas gift and was wondering about any events that he could bring a girl to. I'm seeing some interesting things at the NAC, but not sure about the girl factor. Bruce Cockburn, Goo Goo Dolls, Harry Manx... I don't see any Cirque shows or anything like that but I may be looking in the wrong place. Anyone have any suggestions?

nice to revisit this thread. I'm going to have to peek through Ad-hoc. Might end up at Bouchon in vegas. Thomas Keller seems to pop up in many chef interviews.

i seasoned, seared then braised in broth with standard aromatics. Strained the braising liquid and reduced it for a sauce. I think they could have braised longer. I probably gave them only about 1 1/2 hours...but I'm sure they'd be much more tender doubling that time. Tasted great though.

Jeremy Little was behind their sound last night, and the entire tour...it was great to see him. He always seems to be involved in the best acts. He got the band to sign the vinyl i picked up which adds a nice little shine to the album collection.

how would you interpret that list? It believe that it supports the same list i posted. So up until 1996, your penny is worth more than 1 penny.

fuckeeng zeus man! what an amazing show. who's seen them? I came home with their latest lp on vinyl and an ep on vinyl. It's so wonderful to see bands supporting this format. great fucking band.
