made some tasty burgs last night using a 50/50 mix of sirloin and pork. Thanks to a burger recipe that I read in Better Homes cookbook (seriously classic recipes in there), I added a bit of mustard to the mix. I can't believe how much more flavour popped out. It was too subtle to even notice mustard, but it had an enhancing effect. I also made a quick homemade bbq sauce for one of the burgers using ketchup, 1/4 tsp liquid smoke, onion powder, garlic powder, pinch of sugar, salt and pepper, and about a tsp of kecap manis (sweet soy sauce).

Sorry for the downtime today. I'm sure many of you are in a tent or watching a band at the CTMF right now so you probably aren't even mad that I broke the site while trying to upgrade it. I figured that I could pull off an upgrade in about a 1/2 hour or so, but things went south. As I tried to recover with my backups, things got worse. Thankfully, we are hosted by a great company called Vertex Hostthat employs helpful people that are always ready to help out. The dudes helped me get our site back in action. I'm really looking forward to this upgrade, but I promise that I won't affect the site this way again.
