Sure? It's not mine. It's a canvas I bought. All I did was take a picture of it and add some silly MS Paint to make you laugh. I can take a better picture and send it to you if you want but I am sure it's easily available on the internet. 

Anybody remember this show from 10 years ago???
 
 

Well...it's a sad day.
Kind of speechless really. 

I teach at Ryerson downtown Toronto which I would hazard to guess is one of, if not the most, diverse campuses in our country.  My students were looking for so much reassurance today...it was uncomfortable (like I have the answers).  Tried to give them the whole we will live speech too...and the world is full of positive people yadayada...then when they were working on their group projects I had New Speedway Boogie playing softly in the background...  I am fairly certain that very few if any would have known the origins but it somehow seemed fitting enough.

I spent four hours looking at properties in Costa Rica and re-evaluating my life. Not some knee jerk reaction to the election but more taking stock of everything as it is and wondering if an escape to the jungle is the best course of action. lol

This is what I said on Facebook last night. It's all I got:
Let us not forget this: each of us can still choose to embody love, hope, tolerance, and compassion. And nobody has ever needed the president's permission to reach out to someone in need. All those things we tried to do to make the world a little better yesterday we can still do tomorrow, albeit through clouds of disappointment and uncertainty.

That was the single greatest thing I read on the webs yesterday.  It really, really helped.

An undereducated and misinformed public is the key to maintaining power in a "democracy". I have talked to many Trump supporters here in southwestern PA and to a person they're following a slogan and an idea that bears little weight under any critical thought or reasoning. 

The vibes out on the streets were super dark. 
We all got through Bush and and Harper, so we'll live.
 
I find the saddest part is that he convinced a bunch of down and out blue collar folks that he'd save them.  That's never going to happen.
