The Canon SD870 is on sale again ($299). This time at Future Shop. Damn. What's with all the comedian deaths??? This is NOT funny

The memories of the Carol Burnett show are flooding back. i LOVED that show. Some of the best comedic moments ever. They were brilliant. I think the only one I disliked was Vicki Lawrence as "Mama". Yet, Eunice was the saving grace of those sketches. Yes, I totally remember the Gone With The Wind sketch too. I had seen that movie as a kid many times with my mom and sister and was totally in tune with the references. When she makes the dress out of the curtains (with the curtain rod still in it ), etc. Watching them try to keep straight faces during those sketches were classic. Looking back now, other than some of the outfits, the comedy holds true. Something that can't be said for a lot of current comedy variety shows on tv (SNL, etc.) We'll miss ya Harvey

I don't think that they necessarily helped the Pens get going at all. The refs seemed to be laying down the type of game that they were going to be calling (obvious after the quick obstruction call on Franzen to let them know they may not get away with what they were doing before.) However, first period had and even number of calls for both teams. What bothered me more was the fact that the refs "put away their whistles" in the 3rd. This is GREAT as it allowed for that killer play for the 6 min stretch. During that time there were a number of times that they could have called penalties, and they would have if it was still the first period. If anything, i think they gave Detroit a chance. I told my wife that they'd call a penalty with less than 5 mins to go. Sure, Malkin "obstructed" the Detroit player, but that WAS NOT a penalty for the entire period up to that point!!! Must be frustrating as hell being a player in that situation. Detroit ended up wailing 16 shots on net in the 3rd!!! They are a fucking machine, and the Pens have to capitalize on the miniscule number of errors they make, and try to force more. Franzen's goal was fantastic.

not saying you can't like both, just saying that at a concert they may not be a great combination for the majority of the fans and I'm sure they won't show Adams much respect. Fuck, they'll toss a shoe at Oasis, what do you think Adams will get from some wanker up front?

He came so close to lining up that hit that would have nailed the Detroit defender right into Osgood playing the puck behind the net. He was well disciplined too not taking any penalties or causing probs after the whistle when he was in front of the net. Sucks having the 2 days off between games when NOTHING is going on at the Mellon Arena. Why the fuck can't they have the game on Friday night ... oh right, US networks can't change their programming on a Friday night for a major league final series.

Somehow I can't see the Oasis concert-goers being very receptive/accepting of Ryan Adams at all. Odd pairing.

What a game. That stretch in the middle of the 3rd was phenomenal. Finally, the Pens are tossing the checks around. Orpik threw around 4 or 5 in one shift alone it seemed. Lovin' it.
