I remember it as being mostly over-run with teenagers on the weekends, but a beautiful beach. The surrounding region is pretty rural/small town Ontario. Not so sure how high the concentration of cool/hip people to the overall populace is, but I'm guessing it's a diluted gene pool.

The Flats are good, too. Sunday looks like a fine evening of music. Plus, the price is right.

YES!! The Hintonburger is absolutely delicious, as was the poutine side I had. Go there, it is well worth it. Also, they deliver to to the Elmdale tavern.

That was a brilliant night of music. I didn't put it together until I saw him that the organist was also in Soul Jazz. If they reconvene anytime soon I will be there for sure. Sick players all. Megan's Billie Holiday cover and Craig's trumpet solos were definitely highlights. As was the round of shooters that the waitress bought our table.

Just got in from seeing it. The Cohen Brothers have done it again. I laughed and laughed. It's pure genius. Jeff Bridges is fantastic. Matt Damon is brilliant, and Hailee Steinfeld is remarkable. It's dark, bleak and hilarious and I highly recommend y'all get out to see it while you can.
