For some reason, if a strag (strag: non-hitch hiker) discovers that a hitch hiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, face flannel, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitch hiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitch hiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Nothing to write home about, but there are a few free shows in Ottawa this weekend as part of Race Weekend Saturday afternoon around 4 pm HILOTRONS, Abdominal, Masia One and Amanda Rheaume are playing short sets (maybe just single songs?) at the City Hall ground – they will be broadcast on CBC Radio 1 an hour later at 5 pm. Later in the day ~8 pm David Wilcox is playing a show at the same place, after the awards ceremony for the 5k and 10k races.

no, the transferable passes are one ticket for each day of the festival (with the date stamped on the ticket) check ottawa craigslist - there are lots of posts for people trying to unload single day tickets at good prices, you might find some for the day you want for below face. there will only be more posts until the event arrives.
