always a great time - if you are thinking of buying anything large, a good tip is to drive down and park somewhere in the neighbourhood friday night, as you won't be able to get a car in there on saturday. of course people will also hold large things for you if you pay if you don't have to drive, don't. there are so many people. also, bring your appetite. lots of food, especially around the school (5th / 4th Ave and Lyon) nothing fancy, but a homemade BBQ-d mcmuffin with money going to the school is a great way to wake up.

wow is sunday ever weak, except for the other tent. too band pearl jam didn't get a longer set. MMJ late night will rule, no more crowded tents for them. I'm gonna have to stay up late for Ghostland Observatory. Totally forgot Sigur Ros is there, and latenight taboot. Nice. A few conflicts but a really good schedule for me. Can't wait!

I like it but I'm not totally sold on it yet (have had about 6 or 7 listens over the past couple weeks). Spencer Krug's songs sound like Sunset Rubdown throwaways, which isn't saying much at all. Dan's songs are great. Of course it will be impossible for them to beat the last album. Will be interesting to see how it plays live, you're right about that.
