  6. sounds like a good plan to me.
  7. have you read anything bouche has written in this thread?
  8. 1. That is what Bouche is trying to do. 2. Why go to the trouble of creating something "like this one" instead of just using this one? I have no stake in this whatsoever, but it seems really silly. And no, I haven't emailed the guy to discover the magic reason for a "separate community" (an oxymoron), but if he has such a great idea, why not share it? As far as these sites being a viable business, well, I suspect that is a pretty tall task.
  9. "Renovations" being their term for "liquor licence suspension." They did take the time to do some renos, I'm not sure what, but they certainly didn't take any initiative to improve their bar - they were shut down for allowing drugs on the premises and then decided to do some fix-ups.

  11. [color:purple]I only respond to posts from eastern Ontario and the extreme west of Quebec. bouche and jambands.ca already has everything figured out as far as safe and secure message boards with lots of features and a built-in audience. what's the issue?
  12. exactly. i'm a bit sceptical of the rumours you are reporting, that's all.
  13. According to reports, the only person they've actually talked to is Nonis, who isn't with any team at the moment.
  14. that's twice the necessary amount of gravesites.
  15. you really think the leafs approached gretzky? come. on. now.
  16. Mofro played Bluesfest a couple years ago too.
  17. Savannah is gorgeous, been there 5 or 6 times. But yeah, totally out of the way.
  18. If you go to Memphis, try to be there on a Sunday and go to the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. Might not work this summer as Al Green has a new album and is touring, but then again, it might just work. Full Gospel Tabernacle Church Rev. Al Green, Pastor 787 Hale Road Memphis, TN 38116 Office: 901.396.9192
  19. Nashville is about 1.5 hours or less from the site, and if you're coming from the north it's right on the route there. The past 3 Bonnaroos I've been to, we've stayed in Nashville for a comfortable sleep and shower before driving back. We'll be doing that again this year.
  20. According to Pitchfork, Bill Callahan is the lone opener September 19, 20, 21, and 24, then Iron and Wine is the sole opener from the 27th to October 4th. Iron and Wine's website doesn't have any of those dates yet, so they are a bit behind it seems. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/50442-iron-wine-bill-callahan-open-for-the-swell-season
  21. mattm - what is that toyota link you posted? it's not working. is there a car that gets 80 km/litre with 70% less emissions?
  22. why the fuck hasn't anyone in the league just levelled downie? ottawa does nothing, toronto does nothing, pittsburgh let him get away this game...
