  1. it all depends on what you want to use it for. probably best advice is to figure out what you want to use it for and how much (do you want a mobile internet browser / smaartphone / apps, or do you want a proper phone, do you use long distance, do you use a lot of text messages, is daytime calling important, how much per month can you afford, etc) and then take that info to the phone companies and see what they can do for you.
  2. If the fest really does happen at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, thought maybe these pictures would show a bit of the beauty of the site and what to expect, etc... Campgrounds Looking towards concert tents (rear of site, south of main stage) In between concert tents looking west towards mountains Main stage, looking north From the main stage field at dusk looking west Main stage again
  3. you'd probably want to be upwind from me at a fest like bonnaroo

    BURGERS!

I can't stress how good this burger was. I could go on and on trying to describe it, but the only sentence that does it justice is 'best burger ever.' and that's not even a sentence.

    BURGERS!

I had the best burger of my life tonight. It was at the Manx, and it was a venison and herbed bacon patty, arugula, horseradish aoli, some sort of cheese (working on getting that info right now) on a fairly plain but super fresh and tasty white bun. Holy fuck, so good. Get down to the Manx right now for this piece of heaven!
  10. some good tunes in this canada day playlist available for download http://www.thelineofbestfit.com/2009/07/download-oh-canada-volume-2-canada-day-edition/
  11. sean taylor wants ticket(s) for the 8th at that price... maybe give him a pm
  12. well, it has been for other festivals at that site, but wait until everything is announced to make sure.
  13. Really? Aside from the warnings I already posted about camping at the Polo Club, there are plenty of positives. 1. People like to camp - it's the desert, surrounded by mountains, beautiful. 2. Much much much much cheaper than staying at a resort. 3. Don't have to deal with driving / parking in a residential area hosting a major festival 4. Can walk from your 'residence' to the main stage of a festival in under 10 minutes 5. Plenty of social reasons, if you like to meet and mingle with new people It's a small airport that planes land at - cheap planes from Buffalo apparently... And you don't have to deal with the I-10. Traffic can increase the 2 hour drive by quite a bit. But it can also be a breeze depending on when you're travelling.
  14. full rehearsals are for audio / visual guys too

  18. to be fair, a little birdy told you halloween was in vegas... and nothing has been announced regarding indio so that very well could still be true... all we are going on right now is basher's little birdies, right?
