  1. From Jambase: Crazy Engine Steve Kimock will be hitting the road this spring with his new project Steve Kimock Crazy Engine. Exploring a new direction, Crazy Engine is a Steve Kimock project unlike any other. Pushing the boundaries of rock and roll, rhythm and blues, gospel and soul, the repertoire will include Kimock classics as well as an energized catalogue of covers and fresh material. For nearly four decades Steve Kimock has earned a reputation as a guitarist with an enlightened approach to melodic improvisation and has captured audiences from around the globe with his tasteful guitar speak and brilliant tone. Labeled the “guitar monk†by Relix Magazine for his relentless pursuit of the art of guitar, Steve Kimock blends all of his influences, capturing the spirit of the music wherever he goes, while tuning into sounds from some unseen dimensions. The long-awaited project will also feature legendary Hammond B3 player, Melvin Seals, best known for his work with the Jerry Garcia Band. The glistening new line up also includes the cookin’ rhythm section of Janis Wallin on bass (Family Groove Company) and Kimock’s own son, John Morgan Kimock on drums. Rounding out the configuration with their soulful crooning are “The Girls†on vocals, featuring Cheryl Rucker and Shirley Starks (Melvin Seals and JGB).
  2. If the extras are sold at face to friends that got shut out is that scalping or helping?
  3. is that the same "The Only" as is in a few Lowest of the Low lyrics?...specifically Bleed A Little While and Carlaw Bridge. huh. Man I love belting out Carlaw in the car I'm putting on Shakespeare My Butt.
  4. Mickey, I'm certain that we aren't getting a hotel but if you wanna meet up for some pints at a pub somewhere i'm definitely IN.
  5. i like both as well. no reason to quit liking hockey because you discover football. both have contact but are night and day.
  6. They're all stupid. Baseball actually allowed a tie a couple years back. lame.

  13. oh the sarcasm runs deep, eh Constable. Lowest form of intelligence one might say Sure he's backpedaling on shit...they all do. That's election rhetoric at it's shiny best, but to say that people will look back favourably in any way at Bush II's terms is ludicrous. The man was a moron and if Obama only does 1 thing while in office, and that is raise the morale of the American consumer/manufacturer, he's a success. People only want to feel good about their President because nothing ever really changes. I agree with ya about the speech though...very devoid of content overall. Now go crawl back under the broken right wing ya came from edit to add: let's not overlook the moves he has already done 2 days into office. -freezing the salaries of White House Staff -closing Guantanamo (or having a plan to) (which i know you hardcore right wingers hate...where will we torture our prisoners now???) -personal call to the leaders of Israel, Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian Authority to make good on his Middle East involvement. -held a meeting of his national security staff and his military commander and ambassador in Iraq "to get a full update on the situation". not bad for 2 days. that Dickhead Bush took 6 years to even VISIT Canada.
  14. what am i missing? i guess i'm out of touch with all the crazy kids euphemisms these days.
  15. I also must say the Mantis is growing on me. I'll be after that Gourds album too, thanks Esau.
