  1. I know there was discussion in the Coachella thread, but we haven't really directly addressed the issue of the Rage reunion. We're talking about one of the most important rock bands of the past ten years. Reuniting. Isn't that exciting to anybody?

  3. Wow. Next time invite me to that party.
  4. I was at Absinthe to see Tell The Divers, Tugnut, and Hoosier Poet. It was fucking heavy and progressive as shit. Simply insanity. I love Hamilton music.
  5. I have experienced a number of awesome Hamilton house shows over the past number of months...it's an awesome trend in what I consider to be the fastest-growing musical community in the province. Just talking to my new housemates about hosting a show ourselves over the summer. I'd be hitting this tonight, but I'm going to see Tell The Divers, Tugnut and Hoosier Poet at the Absinthe. Heavy shit.
  6. These guys are as close to Neil Young and Crazy Horse as you can get without being the real thing. http://www.myspace.com/northwestdivision
  7. If this guy is a legendary steel player, I can't miss it. I'll admit I've heard the name but know nothing of this band. Somebody please tell me, why are they good?
  8. I never lived on the Danforth but I always marvelled at it. I had friends out at Danforth and Greenwoods. They lived pretty cheaply in a shared place and the area wasn't terribly rough. And the subway is right there, that'll avoid car use. I lived on Queen West for a year. It was a good hood for seeing a lot of music and hanging out at fun places, and the streetcar service is pretty good, but I think there are other unsung neighbourhoods in the city. The streetcar service along St. Clair is being improved, I've considered the neighbourhood west of St. Clair West station. Bloor West too, for sure, High Park and west of there. Good luck man
  9. Welcome to the finest city in Southern Ontario!
  10. We are stupid excited to be playing the Fatties' party. We just posted three tunes from our show last week at Pepper Jack's, you can hear them at http://www.myspace.com/theachieversachieve.
  11. Recordings from this show now up at our myspace http://www.myspace.com/theachieversachieve
  12. Adam and I are having a blast playing with Dan, whom I can truly say is one of the most gifted songwriters I've met. Give his tunes a listen and that's all you'll need to be at this show. We've been rehearsing like mad and it sounds awesome but so far March 5 is the only gig this band has booked, so get on out to this gig.
  13. I've been thinking about you too, Luke. Glad you're safe. Take it easy.
  14. Oh man Shain, I almost don't want to subject you to the ridicule:
  15. Right on man, and thanks. I wish you could too, buddy. There will be other shows though.
  16. Why thank you, my good man. I was appalled when I mentioned Skynyrd and Ric jokingly starting singing Ramblin' Man, I had to call him on it. So, show tonight! Excited for rock, I am.
  17. Aw shucks, thanks Brodie. I 'preciate it. Ric is a good guy and has always been cool about having me on to talk about whomever I'm playing with.
  18. Bumpin it cause I'm just headed to CFMU, I'll be on in 10 minutes.
