bouche and I had cornish game hen with a raspberry/peach chutney, mashed potatoes and a turnip/carrot side. With pumpkin pie. mmmmm. I missed stuffing and gravy though.

I was cleaning out our gardens for the fall and had a bunch of mint to preserve. So I made about 8 little jars of mint jelly and with the rest, I'm going to put it in a jar with rum for mohitos. I'm also going to dry some for tea. Do any of you have other favorite methods for preserving herbs?

Sounds terrific. I discovered watermelon, basil and goat cheese salad this summer. Just that, some Olive oil and seasoning and you're good to go. So simple and yummy.
