  1. Mooney's Bay computer provided me with a great system in 2000 which lasted me until this year. They put everything I wanted in there (wanted a computer tweeked for recording music)... nice case, and never had any problems, until it started crumbling under the pressure of being 8 years old. The cost seemed very reasonable. I don't know how good they are for peripherals... but I imagine they are stocked fairly well with the common bits.
  2. I finally got into this... and seasons 1-4 were awesome! Probably got through all of it in a month! I can't wait to see season 5... anyone know when it's going to start?! Maybe season 4 was weak compared to the other 3... but it was still pretty good. I don't know why people complain so much around here! I think it sets the table pretty good for season 5... and no doubt if and when they ever wrap it up... it going to go like fire crackers.
  3. This is a pre-season game right? What a mega-rip-off.
  4. Dollars to doughnuts, the puppet show is all Conky. I hope they bring some of those sugar-glass bottles and throw them at the audience!!! BOTTLE KIDS!!!
  5. Maybe when it freezes over. k?
  6. He barley filled the stands at the Ricoh Coliseum last time he was in town. A little annoying considering he was touring with the best stage show at the time. Table percussion AND puppets. Such a great artist... I can't wait until people come and start ripping up his scientology background... or is that too 2006?!
  7. No Sunspots this year. It'll be a cold, cold winter. I'm loving it!
  8. It's official! After some tough negotiating, which only means I save some coin now, so I can dump it into the house as soon as I move in, it has been completed. Let the games begin!!! Thanks everyone for all your well wishing, or not wishing me any specific harm!
  9. I'm just trying to say they all have a special place in my heart. I guess it could be worse. You could of said they belong on the H-list.
  10. I agree with the whole nationalism thing, and the sponsorships that are shoved down your neck the whole games. And I do like watching international hockey... but it's more because there's a much smaller talent pool to draw from so the depth of the teams is much greater... that and you get to see people who don't normally play together on the same team, and it helps to make sense of real-time abilities in contrast to play in the NHL. So with that being said... the olympics are still interesting for me... kind of like sitcoms... if I got time to watch the tube... I'll watch, and I can get caught up in the individual action... but I don't have to watch. I saw part of the opening ceremonies. I thought they were very impressive. Looked like they had 50,000 performers.
  11. :: Opens Thread:: Juan Guzman, Pat Tabler, John Olerud, Nelson Liriano, George Bell, and Ed Sprague should all get special attention in the Pool B section of this poll... I think. Tony Fernandez is the real magician... and for the multiple era's he's been in a Jay's uniform he gets my vote.
  12. In my eyes Indisposed In disguise As no one knows Hides the face Lies the snake The bun In my disgrace Boiling heat Summer stench neath the black The sky looks dead Call my name Through the cream And Ill hear you Scream again Cinnabon Wont you come And wash away the rain Cinnabon Wont you come Wont you come Stuttering Cold and damp Steal the warm wind Tired friend Times are gone For honest men And sometimes Far too long For snakes In my shoes A walking sleep And my youth I pray to keep Heaven send Hell away No one sings Like you Anymore Hang my head Drown my fear Till you all just Disappear
  13. Well for all the hub-bub in the front office and all the distraction... it's not too bad that it only took a week of pre season to finally reach the right conclusion. How 'bout those Raiders?
  14. And here I'm thinking a febreeze commercial is interesting! Woah.
  15. There's this new Febreeze TV commercial I saw which took place on a greyhound like bus. It's like a sticky wall freshener... and the woman puts it on the window and everyone gets all happy... they pan back through the aisle and zoom past the bus driver, and they're all happy! mmmm smells... But the first thing I thought when I saw it on the bus was: Awkward... Never seen it before too, which I thought was odd... can't remember the channel, it was probably showcase... Febreeze is probably aware of the principles brought forward by this book:
  16. Wow! That's a lot of Triumph material! Funny stuff. Thanks!
  17. You know who else was nationalist?: Hitler. What do you expect from a league that at one point had 8 teams... two with the same name. There's some neat stuff in the CFL, cause it is football (Like Moon, Flutie, Gizmo, Pinball), but it is kind of dull to watch on TV.
